This Revelation Time - Are you Prepared?
As much as we would like to avoid Bad News, we simply cannot. As we see the Day Approaching which is a Biblical Term, we need to think about what is really important in this life. Where we put our finances is extremely vital to keep a balance on our daily living. We have given ourselves to standing on the Word of God and because of this, He has made himself known to us.
We are not about fancy buildings, as they are disappearing so quickly, we are not about fancy clothes as they will wear out or styles change weekly. What we are about is seeking God and living in the economy which he has given to us. There are Scriptures which instruct and reveal to us about the End-times. People who avoid this, will not be ready for what is coming.
Think about Japan at this point, some were ready and some were not. We must pray for Japan and it's people everyday. As we mentioned on our Community and Family page, we were given wisdom to take the supplement Iodine before the earthquake. Now we are glad that we are. Hearing from God willl keep your life.
There will be many days in which we can prepare for emergency's. This is something every family should be doing. Oh, sure, we could just say that God will take care of us, but Scriptures instruct us very differently.
"God's kingdom is like ten young virgins who took oil lamps and went out to greet the bridegroom. Five were silly and five were smart. The silly virgins took lamps, but no extra oil. The smart virgins took jars of oil to feed their lamps. The bridegroom didn't show up when they expected him, and they all fell asleep. Matthew 25:1 MSG
We know that our God loves us and will provide, he does that by using His Ministers of the Five-Fold Ministry which honor all Five Ministry Gifts - apostle, prophet, pastor, evangelist and teacher. This five functions must be moving in the church of Jesus Christ as we cannot exclude any of them. There is no advancement or spiritual growth outside of the Five-Fold Gift Ministry. Denominations that exclude the ministry gifts, callings and flow of God Spirit, will not know the signs of the times. To only focus on Salavtion is robbing the Body of Christ from God's blessings.
Concerning the Five Wise Virgins, which represent a people forgiven by God, they were busy tending their lamps, seeing to it that they had enough oil. What good is a light when there is nothing in it to keep the flame burning. Spiritually speaking we are lights and need God 's love to keep us burning for him, but also, light will be needed if we are waiting on Him to come and this world is in darkness. I could write a book here. We are all to develope a relationship with God daily through the ministry of Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the oil that keeps us burning.
